クロサギ

クロサギは、体が白いタイプと、写真のように真っ黒なタイプがいます。全長62cm。本州以南に分布しますが、沖縄では本土に比べて白色のタイプの割合が高いようです。岩礁の海岸や干潟などに生息しています。主に魚などを食べているようです。
Pacific Reef Egret has two types, black and white. Total length is about 62 cm. It's distributed south of Honshu. In Okinawa the percentage of white type seems to be higher than in other areas. It's inhabit in the rocky coasts and tidal flats. Mainly predicts fish.
